Shao graduated from Zhejiang University School of Medicine, worked in Department of Respiratory Diseases of Jiaxing Second Hospital for 20 years. He studied successively in Changhai Hospital for 1 year and Renji Hospital for 3 months, and published 3 papers in top domestic journals and more than 10 papers in other journals. He participated in the work of support Xinjiang’s development in 2015, served as the leader of Jiaxing medical group, and won the title of “Outstanding Advance Individual in Support of Xinjiang’s Development”. Shao successively served as deputy chief of Medical Department and deputy director of Respiratory Ward of Jiaxing Second Hospital since 2017, and won the title of “Advanced Individual in Fighting COVID-19 in Jiaxing” in 2020. He also held the director of Zhejiang Smoking Cessation Alliance, vice director of tuberculosis medical quality management and control center in Jiaxing, and other posts.
