On December 12, the "Children Health Activity, Experience as a Doctor" event was successfully held in Jiaxing Kaiyi Hospital with the "Colorful Zuili" Community New Era Culture Practice Center. More than 20 children participated in this event with their parents.

They came to Jiaxing Kaiyi Hospital with their parents successively before the event started. After signing in, led by community volunteers, they saw posters of the sixth plenary session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and carefully listened to volunteers who were sharing the knowledge about the Communist Party of China. Community volunteers taught and led the children to inherit the 'red gene' with practical actions from childhood and strive to be the little master of the times.

Event Start 

In this class, Fenhong Li, associate chief physician in the Pediatrics of Jiaxing Kaiyi Hospital, shared some knowledge about epidemic prevention and development of bones to help children know more about their body. After Dr. Li raised questions about health, children were very enthusiastic to answer these questions.

"Hand in hand to prevent pandemic". A nurse was publicizing pandemic prevention knowledge in a common and easy-to-understand language by teaching children the seven-step hand washing, so that they could get into the habit of washing hands frequently and correctly in daily life.

To foster the independence and initiative of the children, the nurse demonstrated how to treat wounds in detail and taught children how to treat common wounds independently. Children were bandaging their parents with what they have learned.

Time flied so quickly while we were happy! At the end of the event, doctors at Jiaxing Kaiyi Hospital awarded the children with "Little Doctor" honorary certificates, gifts, and free bone age examinations. In this event, children interacted and communicated with their parents more frequently than before, and what's more, parents realized that they should pay more attention to the health of their children and make their children grow healthily.
